Stomil Olsztyn players compromised themselves in Gdynia. Adrian Stawski’s players lost 0: 6 to the local Arek.
Adrian Stawski, in theory, put up the strongest squad he has in this round for the last match in 2021. After an ankle sprain injury, Jonathan Straus returned to the starting line-up. The footballer suffered an injury during the match against the Niepołomice Forest, he rehabilitated himself in Białystok, and was so successful that he could play in Gdynia. Who knows if it was not the last meeting of this player in the colors of Stomil, because at the end of the year the player ends his contract with the Olsztyn team.
In the first half of the game, the game was even until the goal was lost, but you don’t get any points for your artistic impressions on the pitch. Stomil looked quite solid, at times he had an advantage on the pitch, he created a situation, but none of the actions was converted into a goal. In the 36th minute Mateusz Stępień crossed the penalty box, and Michał Marcjanik headed the goal. A moment earlier Jonathan Simba Bwang lost the mating and the hosts could enjoy the lead. Before the break, Stomil could still equalize thanks to Patryk Mikita, but the ball stopped at the seam of the post and the crossbar.
Arka went for the second half with the attitude of increasing the score as quickly as possible, and Stomil stayed in the dressing room, because what else can you call it, since Stawski’s players lost 5 goals after the break! Arka managed to raise the score to 2: 0 already in the 47th minute. After a free-kick cross, the defenders of Stomil could not effectively cover Fabian Spanish and he increased the result from close range. In the 58th minute, Mateusz Żebrowski, also with the passive stance of Stomil’s defense, increased the result of the match to 3: 0. It was not enough for the hosts. In the 69th minute Adam Deja showed off with a nice shot. The last two goals in this match were scored by Michał Marcjanik, who recorded a hattrick.
The entire team compromised itself in the last match in 2022! You can lose, but not like that and not 0: 6 in Gdynia!
Stomil will resume training on January 10, 2022 and a day later it will go to the first mini training camp in Mrągowo.
