A Japanese fan is making headlines after escaping security and running towards BTS’ Jungkook.
On July 12, a post went viral on Twitter. In that tweet, netizens posted a video of Jungkook waving to fans at the airport on his way to New York.
The video then shows a dangerous scene when this Japanese fan allegedly escaped from security and ran towards Jungkook.
As Jungkook entered the airport and greeted his fans, who were separated by security lines on either side of him, a purported “fan” could be seen breaking away from the crowd and walking towards the BTS member.
Luckily, security guards were able to stop the fan and prevent her from getting close to Jungkook.

Netizens criticized the fan for creating a dangerous situation. Many fans were relieved that Jungkook did not find out about the incident.
