Aston Villa fans have been waiting for this match for over six weeks. Their favorite team broke through six defeats to the government. In the last round of the Premier League, Steven Gerrard’s players defeated Brighton 2-0. Matty Cash played the full 90 minutes and, after the referee’s final whistle, walked over to the fans to hand them his jersey. It turned out, however, that one of the younger fans, Daniel, was waiting for such a gesture in particular.
“My son, Daniel was unable to reach for his hero Matty’s T-shirt. It was a really difficult week for him (he was harassed at school, he is an autistic child). A message from Matty could lift his spirits” – wrote his mother boy, marking Matty Cash at the same time. She didn’t have to wait long for an answer.
Matty Cash responds to a concerned father’s request. “I’m very sorry!”
“I am very sorry! If you give me your details, I will send him the signed T-shirt” – the Polish defender wrote back on Twitter. The post quickly gained popularity, and the footballer himself received a lot of praise from users of the social network.
The boy’s mother, Freya Savidge-Conway, published a post in which she thanked everyone for helping to make her son’s dreams come true. “I gave Daniel all the support messages. It really did cheer him up. Now he got a message from Matty Cash,” we read.
