Google announced in October that the so-called Locked Folder, the “locked folder” of photos, will appear on more Android and iOS devices. Now the rollout of this function begins. As reported by Android Police, Locked Folder is already present on some Android devices which means that the update is gradual.
Locked Folder is a feature related to sending photos to the cloud. The Google Photos app allows users to make a backup to Google Drive. Locked Folder, i.e. a closed directory, is a security – we mark pictures and videos that we do not want to be uploaded to the cloud. They are protected by biometric security, so no one will see them without our consent, they won’t show up in the Google Photos app either.
When it comes to news related to Google products, the company recently announced that options for finding medical help will appear in Google Search. For now, however, only in the United States. In turn, the Android Auto application has recently been enriched with Dual SIM support.
