60 million euros for the Portuguese attacking midfielder
While Bernardo Silva has still not decided on his future, it is another Portugal international that Al-Nassar would be on the verge of signing. According to transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano, the Saudi club have reached a verbal agreement with FC Porto to sign Otavio. The sale is estimated at 60 million euros, which would be Al-Nassr’s biggest transfer of the transfer window. Otavio would also become the most expensive sale in the history of FC Porto, thus surpassing Eder Militão (50 million Euros – Real Madrid in 2019). Considered one of the best Portuguese talents, Otavio was certainly convinced by his mentor CR7 to join the Saudi Pro League.

Ottavio has already agreed to al-Nassar. Therefore, the midfielder should get himself medically examined in the coming days. FC Porto should receive 20 million euros immediately, before recovering the remaining amount during the next 2 seasons (40 million). With this sale, the Portuguese club proved once again that it is the world transfer champion. Arriving 9 years ago for an amount of 2.5 million euros, Otavio would thus allow Porto to make a decent capital gain.
Having made his professional debut at SC Internacional (Brazil), the 28-year-old midfielder will be featuring in his third championship. He was under contract with FC Porto since 2014. Naturally Portuguese, Otavio made his debut in Portugal colors in August 2021. Since then, he would have played 14 matches for the national team. He will especially be in the group for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
