A 62-year-old woman was seriously injured following a road accident (caused by a cyclist) which took place in via Meda in Milan on the morning of Wednesday 10 August.
Everything happened around 10, as reported by the regional emergency urgency agency. According to an initial reconstruction provided by the local police in Milan, the 62-year-old was on the sidewalk when she was overwhelmed by a cyclist who was proceeding on the same stretch of road reserved for pedestrians.
After the collision, the 62-year-old flew to the ground violently banging her head while the cyclist (summarily described as a rider) waited for the ambulance to arrive and then moved away towards the city center making him lose track. The 62-year-old was rushed to the Polyclinic and her condition would be serious.

Road hijacker overwhelms a child and escapes
It is the second accident in a few hours that sees a hijacker as the protagonist. In the night between Monday and Tuesday, an 11-year-old boy (Mohanad Moubarak) was run over and killed by a hijacker in via Bartolini. The man identified as the perpetrator of the accident is a 22-year-old boy who had never obtained a driver’s license.
