Gao was shooting a reality TV program called Zhui Wo Ba (‘Catch Me’) for Zhejiang Television (a province located in eastern China) in Ningbo City.

Born in Taipei, Gao emigrated with his parents when he was a child to Vancouver (Canada) until he decided to return to Taiwan a few years ago to start his career as a model and actor for various television series and movies.
