Geneviève de Fontenay, who died Tuesday at the age of 90, left behind her son, Xavier, as well as her two granddaughters, Agathe and Adèle. It is the latter who has just published on her Instagram account a moving message to evoke her grandmother.
The one whose Geneviève de Fontenay predicted, in 2015, that she was going to “recover the hat” shared her immense grief, especially since she had seen her grandmother “two hours before her disappearance”.
“A Huge Void”
Adèle de Fontenay first thanked those who sent her numerous messages of condolence. And it is above all for them that she decided to come out of her silence despite the mourning. She then mentioned Geneviève de Fontenay and how much her absence is already felt.
“I can’t believe my grandma is gone, I feel like I’ve lost a part of me. We were with her two hours before she disappeared. Geneviève left on August 1, 2023 at 11 p.m. in her sleep as she wished. It is a huge void that now sets in. Grandma I will miss you so much. I love you,” the 26-year-old wrote.
Adèle de Fontenay has received many comments, in particular from former Miss France. “With all my heart with you, with you. She was so proud of you two, ”wrote Élodie Gossuin in particular.
