After 27 years of marriage, Hugh Jackman and Deborra-Lee Furness announce their divorce

In Hollywood, some couples seem made to last forever, and their separation is always a real surprise to the general public. This was the case when the divorce of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt was announced a few years ago. But if there is one announcement that no one expected, it is that of the separation of Hugh Jackman and his wife, Deborra-Lee Furness.

The couple took the initiative to avoid the rumors, and released a statement in the columns of People, declaring: “We have been fortunate to share nearly 3 decades together as husband and wife in a wonderful and loving marriage. Our course is now changing and we have decided to part ways to pursue our individual growth.”

Hugh Jackman and his ex-wife want to stay positive, and say: “Our family has been and always will be our highest priority. We enter this next chapter with gratitude, love and kindness. We greatly appreciate your understanding in respecting our private lives as our family goes through this transition in all of our lives.” All before specifying that they would no longer comment on the issue. No question for them to have a resounding celebrity divorce.
