The tail of the Atlantic front that in closing of the Halloween and All Saints’ Bridge will reach Northern Italy could represent the beginning of a gradual dismantling of the African anticyclone in the Mediterranean latitudes. Already starting from Wednesday 2 November, some long-term mathematical models indicate a possible failure of the high pressure structure, albeit partial, under the pressure of the great Atlantic perturbations. If the trend were confirmed we could go towards a radical change in atmospheric circulation also on the boot close to the weekend of 5-6 November.
The dismantling of the anticyclone would allow the more decisive entry of the humid and disturbed flows, with the consequent return of the rains starting from our northern regions and with an appreciable lowering of temperatures. However, remember that this is a possible long-term trend, among other things not supported by other mathematical models and subject to even significant variations. All that remains is to wait for the next updates to understand what the fate of our country may actually be. Stay up to date.
