Al-Khelaifi acknowledges project could take time to complete
Paris Saint-Germain has a squad full of great foreign stars such as Neymar, Lionel Messi, Donnarumma and Navas. However, in an interview with the newspaper Le Parisien, club president Nasser Al-Khelaifi has a new project for the future of PSG.

But, in addition to his passion for the club, Al-Khelaifi highlighted that he intends to have a 100% local squad, which could be an indication of the future of PSG’s foreigners. “My goal for the next few years is to have only Parisian players in our team. There is a lot of talent in our region. The best players in our region deserve to play for PSG,” he said.
Despite the expectation, the change should not happen so quickly, the manager himself recognizes that it will take time to fulfill his desire. It is worth mentioning that, in the current professional squad, only Kimpembe was formed at the club’s base. “It will take time, but it is a goal. 11 years ago I said that I wanted to train the future Messi, today I say that we want to train the future Mbappé, who would also come from Paris, It is not easy, but we have everything we need to succeed”, concluded the club representative.
