While she may not be a Jedi, the beloved character of Star Wars Ahsoka Tano she will soon become the star of her own series, aptly named Ahsoka. The day this will become a reality is closer as the next Disney + series has officially started production on Ahsoka. The announcement came from the Star Wars Twitter page, which shows an image of a director’s chair with the name of the main character written on the back. Also seen is a hat on the chair which leads back to creator Dave Filoni.
Bryce Dallas Howard talks about Ahsoka
Bryce Dallas Howardrecently spoke of Ahsoka to the Romper portal: “Dave Filoni knows the Star Wars universe better than anyone, except maybe George Lucas. He was actually led by George while he was doing Clone Wars, they created it together. And we worked together on The Mandalorian. Without revealing anything of the plot, I can say that you will love Ahsoka. I can’t anticipate anything, but if you are a Clone Wars fan you will be definitely rewarded ”.
The character of Ahsoka Tano He first appeared in the 2008 animated film Star Wars The Clone Wars and was a main character in the television series that followed its release. Her first live appearance was in the second season of The Mandalorian, where she was played by Rosario Dawson, who will reprise her role in the upcoming series. Along with Dawson, Hayden Christensen will also be reprising his prequel role as Ahsoka’s former master Anakin Skywalker / Darth Vader.
Other cast members from the series Ahsoka include Natasha Liu Bordizzo as Star Wars Rebels character Sabine Wren. We will also find Mary Elizabeth Winstead and Ray Stevenson, who have also been cast for unknown roles. Ahsoka will premiere on Disney + in 2023. Dave Filoni, director and writer of Clone Wars, is writing the series. Dave Filoni has previously worked on The Mandalorian and The Book of Boba Fett.
