Volta Redonda defeated Paysandu 1-0 with Bruno Barra’s goal in the 18th minute of the final stage. Voltazo needed a goal to take the place from Papan da Cruz, but in the 39th minute Samuel Granada’s shot hit the post and the match was suspended for nine minutes due to confusion among the Pará fans.
Amazonas defeated Botafogo vs. PB 2-0 at the Arena da Amazonia in Manaus. The Amazon team built a victory in the first half. Diego Torres took the lead in the 13th minute with a penalty kick.
