AMC announces the start of production on Fear the Walking Dead 8

Production has officially begun on the eighth season of Fear the Walking Deadthe longest running spin-off in the series The Walking Dead.

The start of production was announced by AMC extension through a short teaser in which the broadcaster shows some details from behind the scenes of the set in Savannah, Georgia. In the last season of Fear the Walking Dead the group of survivors split from the sick woman Alicia Clark (Alycia Debnam-Carey) and then escape the nuclear fallout with rafts.

The TV series was developed by Dave Erickson And Scott M. Gimple. Among the producers Robert Kirkman, Gale Anne Hurd, Greg Nicotero And David Alpert. The new showrunners are Andrew Chambliss And Ian Goldberg. The launch of the new episodes of the eighth season will take place during 2023.
