CES 2022 is one of the most important events of the year for fans of new technologies. It is here and at Computex in Taiwan that manufacturers from around the world present their latest, most advanced equipment. Yesterday, the largest companies in the world of computers had their conferences, namely AMD, Intel and NVIDIA. We will focus on the first of these, because during her long speech, Lisa Su revealed a lot of details about both graphics cards and processors. It seems that the next generation of AMD Ryzen systems will be able to boast very high clock speeds on all cores at once, which will be useful both for gaming and work.
The AMD show suggests that the next generation Ryzen 7000 processors may have high clock speeds and thus very high performance.

It is true that we mentioned this earlier, but this information is worth publishing separately. Lisa Su yesterday presented the capabilities of the prototype processor from the AMD Ryzen 7000 family, which will be based on the Zen 4 architecture and equipped with AMD RDNA2 graphics chips. The whole was paired with the reference motherboard from the Reds, 2x 16 GB of DDR5 RAM clocked at 4800 MHz and the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 graphics card. The Microsoft Windows 11 operating system version 22000.282 and the drivers from the Greens with the number 472.12 were used. Everything was tested in the popular game from 2021, i.e. Halo Infinite.

The exact number of FPS in the game has not been given, but Lisa Su has described it as “high”. You can see for yourself in the video below. Importantly, the prototype of the AMD Ryzen 7000 processor reached 5.0 GHz on all cores. This suggests that the maximum clock per core may be even higher, and this bodes well for the future generation of AMD processors. However, it is worth recalling that Intel also showed the Core i9-12900KS unit that can boast a clock speed of 5.2 GHz on two cores.
