Another big transfer from Ekstraklasa is done! Jakub Kamiński will go to the Bundesliga [NASZ NEWS]

Jakub Kamiński will become a new player of Vfl Wolfsburg! According to our information, the transfer to the “Wolves” team is already a foregone conclusion. In recent days, the last details of one of the highest transfers in the history of PKO BP Ekstraklasa have been recorded. The official announcement is a matter of days. The winger will finish the season in Lech Poznań.

The 19-year-old has long attracted the attention of German clubs, but there were also offers from other TOP 5 leagues. Wolfsburg tried to recruit a “Kolejorz” player in summer. Lech, however, withstood the pressure and refused to sell his leading footballer in an important season for the entire Poznań community.

More Bundesliga teams joined the fight for a talented teenager. In December we informed that the players from Poznań have offers from Borussia Dortmund and RB Leipzig on the table. And already in that text we wrote that the most likely transfer to Vfl Wolfsburg, which from the beginning was the most determined to get the winger.

Then we wrote about this option like this:

Serious transfer talks, visits and correspondence exchange between Poznań and Germany have been underway for several weeks. If today we were to bet on where Kamiński will land, we will write Wolfsburg. The football player’s manager, Bartłomiej Bolek, has great relations with the director of “Wilków”, Joerg Schmadke, although he cannot complain about the contacts at BVB (his charges Łukasz Piszczek played there for eleven years). Ultimately, the determination of the trio that entered the auction will be decisive.

And she decided. The negotiations were not easy and took many months. “Kolejorz” had one tough condition apart from the satisfactory amount: “The footballer stays until the end of the season”. Piotr Rutkowski was adamant and made his own. Lech is guaranteed serious money, as well as an important player until the end of the tournament. The priority for Bułgarska is the Polish championship for the club’s centenary.

The Viaplay expert and our columnist Tomasz Urban assessed Kamiński’s transfer to the “Wilków” team as follows:

When it comes to the outlook for the game, it would be easiest for Cuba to have minutes in Wolfsburg, and the hardest – in my opinion – in Leipzig, although in the case of Leipzig and Wolfsburg the assessment is hampered by the fact that the new coaches are just arranging these teams in their own way and one can only speculate, what tactical systems they will prefer. Kohfeldt’s Wolfsburg started off by playing for three center-backs, but after a series of unsuccessful appearances against Stuttgart, he already made four. For Cuba, this system would be more advantageous in the match against Stuttgart. First of all – he’s used to playing like this, secondly – the Wolfsburg left pendulum has much more options to play than the left wing. Renato Steffen is the only classic left winger there. There are also many players in the squad who could play in this position, but this is not their target place on the pitch (e.g. Nmech’s brothers, Phillipp, Waldschmidt, Lukebakio or Gerhardt). But Kohfeldt’s Wolfsburg is just looking for his identity. At the moment it is difficult to judge how they want to play. Kohfeldt’s motto is for his team to be fast in every element of the game, so Cuba’s “gas” would certainly be welcome.

Lech Poznań and Vfl Wolfsburg have reached a full agreement on the transfer. The transaction should be officially announced in the coming days. This week, the footballer’s agent was in Germany to close the deal. An offer from another league might have appeared on the home straight. “Kamyk”, however, will eventually go to the city of Volkswagen. He will sign with the club five-year contract valid from July 2022. Sum? We hear that the deal will be around ten million euros with bonuses. This is not much less than the record-breaking transfers of Jakub Moder and Kacper Kozłowski to Brighton.

This season, the 19-year-old played in 19 league games. He recorded six goals and four assists in them.
