On video that hit Twitter, you can see Kutcher asking Kunis about basic concepts related to cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology.

After Kunis gives simple, one-sentence definitions explaining “cryptocurrency”, “blockchain”, and “decentralization”, Kutcher asks for a description of Ethereum. The camera then panes right as it passes by Kunis to show Buterin.

The latter proceeds to an extensive explanation of the core elements of Ethereum, explaining how the smart contract protocol differs from “one-way” chains, taking the Bitcoin network as an example.

– Ethereum is a general purpose blockchain […] an open platform that allows people to build their own applications, and everything built on Ethereum is protected and secured […] across a network of thousands of computers around the world – says Buterin in the clip. – Because [Ethereum] supports a programming language, developers have limitless creativity in what things actually create on the Ethereum base. So you can use Ethereum to create cryptocurrencies, NFT or many other things – added.

Kutcher only replied to him: “Yes, it makes sense.”

Kunis tokens

Links and hashtags accompanying the video suggest that it was created to promote the NFT Kunis “Stoner Cats” series. People who buy “Stoner Cats NFT” get access to streaming episodes of the animated series of the same name. The series is billed as “the first NFT animated series”. It tells about the fate of funny-looking and quite party cats. Kunis described the Stoner Cats project as “Enabling cryptocurrency users to buy NFT with images of cats – sometimes drinking and smoking marijuana.”

Everyone just did [ten projekt]because they thought it was different and fun and we all wanted to do it for the right reasons Kunis said recently, who gave her voice to one of the cats. – This restores the artist’s ownership of the content and eliminates middlemen – she added.

Kutcher is also very familiar with the subject of NFT as he tokenized his notebook with his drawings in August 2020 and the physical original was burned before putting the token up for auction.

In turn, his venture capital company, A-Grade Investments, currently supported the best companies on the cryptocurrency market, including the BitPay payment processor and the blockchain security company – BitGo.
