Azealia Banks shared posts accusing Lady Gaga
Azealia Banks returned to Twitter after the platform was acquired by Elon Musk, and it didn’t take long for her to get back to her usual business of exposing other celebrities who engage in practices that hardly anyone knows about. While previous speeches saw their target Kanye Westthis time, the “212” hitmaker talked about Lady Gagawhich supposedly has some problems with Nicki Minaj.
As VladTV reports, Banks’ statements came after fans said she should collaborate with the “Just Dance” singer on an upcoming song. “No. This woman has zero respect for black women,” she wrote on Monday, May 9. “I can never respect her for literally asking me to fight with her. Nicki Minaj on her behalf, I refuse and send her a worse song.”
In another post, the 30-year-old singer called out Gaga for allegedly mocking the late Aaliyah and collaborate with R. Kelly “out of spite”. She tweeted: “To despise the multi-decade reinvention queen (Madonna), the eternal iconic Queen of style, grace, beauty, RESILIENCE and class (Aaliyah)”.
“Gay people have been falling in love with their music for years,” Banks slurred the “House of Gucci” actress before also criticizing Lana Del Rey. “As your deep jealousy and hatred for Nicki Minaj and the shit she was saying and trying to do backstage was just disgusting,” concluded the Harlem native. “Whether I want to fight Nicki or not, I’ll do it of my own accord. I will never make an offer from a white woman.”
In related news, Azealia Banks thanked his ‘friend’ Elon Musk by purchasing Twitter and revealed that staying away from the network affected his billing. “Actually, *have* to thank Elon for buying the platform, I actually came back.” She continued, “The amount of money I lost from being banned from the platform and not having access to the fan/consumer base I worked so hard to build made it that much harder.”
