Pakistan vs Australia ODI: Pakistan captain and star batsman Babar Azam created history by scoring a blistering century in the second ODI against Australia on Thursday. Babar faced 83 balls and scored 114 runs with the help of 11 fours and 1 six, for which he was adjudged the player of the match. This is the 15th century of Babar’s ODI career.
Babar has become the fastest player to score 15 centuries in ODIs. He has achieved this feat in just 83 innings. In this case, Babar broke the record of Hashim Amla, who had scored 15 ODI centuries in 86 innings. In this list, Indian batsman Virat Kohli (108 innings) is at number three and David Warner (108 innings) and Shikhar Dhawan (108 innings) are jointly at number four.

He is the first captain of Pakistan to score an ODI century against Australia and this is his fourth century as a Pakistan captain, which is the most.
Babar has reached the joint second place in the list of players who have scored the most ODI centuries for Pakistan. Apart from him, Mohammad Yusuf had scored 15 ODI centuries in 267 innings. At number one is Saeed Anwar, who scored 20 ODI centuries in 244 innings.
