Billie Eilish really grew up in his career in a short time. The singer appeared on “The Late Late Show With James Corden” on Tuesday night and spoke of her humble beginnings, comparing it to the grandeur of headliner Glastonbury in front of more than 20,000 people.
she remembers that his first show as a lead artist was for 130 people and not so long ago, that was in 2017.
Billie Eilish recalled about the beginnings of her career
“It was really magical. And that night, it was just the most incredible thing. I think we only had seven songs in total… We played every song we wrote, my brother and I. And I remember the audience of 100 people singing ‘Ocean Eyes’. After the show, I met with every single person that was there,” she said.
Of course, it was not possible to do the same with the tens of thousands that were in the Glastonbury, which took place last weekend. She was one of the main artists with the iconic Paul McCartney and Kendrick Lamar. However, one thing didn’t change: everyone was singing along.
“I really miss meeting everyone. If you tried to hug everyone in Glastonbury, you would still be hugging people when, like, the next show starts next week.“, he joked.
