Denzel Washington – December 28

Denzel Washington is an actor with a career spanning over forty years. Washington has appeared in such notable films as “Malcolm X,” “Remember the Titans” and part of the “Equalizer” film series. During his decades of work, he received many awards, including 3 Ballon d’Or Awards.

John Legend – December 28

John Legend is a singer, songwriter, pianist, record producer and actor. Legend has released nine albums, including R&B and holiday albums. Legend has also appeared in numerous Christmas specials with wife Chrissy Teigen and has been a judge on The Voice since 2011.

LeBron James – December 30

LeBron James is a professional basketball player. He currently plays for the Los Angeles Lakers, having been with the team since 2018. James has been winning awards since high school and recently became the NBA’s newest all-time scoring leader. When he’s not on the court, you can find him acting like the main character in “Space Jam: A New Legacy” and, most recently, “House Party.”

Tiger Woods is a professional golfer. Woods is tied for first in wins on the PGA Tour and second in the men’s majors. Wood is also known as one of the most famous athletes in the world.

Shonda Rhimes – January 13

Shonda Rhimes is a television producer and screenwriter. She is also the founder of the production company Shondaland. Recently, she was listed as the richest female entertainer in the United States with a net worth of $250 million. She is known for her roles on Grey’s Anatomy, Scandal, Private Practice and How to Get Away with Murder.

LL Cool J- January 14

LL Cool J is a rapper, songwriter, record producer and actor. He was one of the first rappers to achieve commercial success. Since 1984, he has released 13 studio albums, including one of his famous songs, “Mama Said Knock You Out”. Through acting, he has appeared in many TV series such as Hawaii Five-0 and NCIS. He also appeared in Last Holiday and Save Us from Eva.

Martin Luther King, Jr. – January 15

Martin Luther King Jr. is considered one of the most prominent leaders of the civil rights movement. He gave his famous “I Have a Dream” speech. In addition to fighting for civil rights, he was a Baptist minister and political philosopher. He graduated from Atlanta Baptist College (now Morehouse College).

Aaliyah – January 16

Alia is a singer and actress. She debuted R&B and Hip-Hop music, earning her the nickname “R&B Princess”. Some of her most famous songs are “One in a Million” and “Rock The Boat.” She unfortunately died in a plane crash in 2001 at the age of 22.

Michelle Obama – January 17

Michelle Obama is a lawyer, author, and former First Lady of the United States. Obama has written more than 12 books. When not supporting her husband or writing books, she has guest-starred on various shows including “NCIS,” “Jessie” and “Doc McStuffins.”

Muhammad Ali – January 17

Muhammad Ali was a professional boxer and activist. He is also known as the greatest heavyweight boxer of all time. From 1964 to 1970, he held the title of Ring magazine heavyweight. Ali also fought for black pride and resistance.
