Now, both teams will take a break for the FIFA match. Borussia Dortmund will only return to the pitch on Friday, October 20th. The team will face Werder Bremen in Round 8 of the Bundesliga at 3:30 pm (Brasilia time), also at Signal Iduna Park.

game goal
The first goal of the match came just seven minutes into the game. After a corner kick, centre-forward Fullkrug stood alone and scored a header near the small area. Goalkeeper Ronnow performed a miracle, but on the rebound the ball fell into the hands of a German player who managed to push it into the back of the goal.
However, Union Berlin’s equalizing goal came quickly. After the corner kick, Gosens broke free and headed toward the goal, quickly scoring the equalizer. The turning goal came in the 39th minute, when defender Bonucci earned a penalty.
However, Borussia Dortmund did not give up and returned from the suspension with all their might. The home team quickly tied the score in less than five minutes. Schlotterbeck took the lead and took some risks to make the shot. The defender fired a beautiful shot into the corner of goalkeeper Ronou to make it 2-2.

The home team’s breakthrough came nine minutes later. Marco Reus received the ball, sped up and fired a shot. The German played a great pass to Julian Brandt, who was entering the penalty area on the left. Brandt finished without taking the initiative and turned the game around by scoring Borussia’s third goal.
26 minutes into the second half, Borussia Dortmund tied the score. A low cross into the area saw Ronau spread the ball. The ball fell to Ryerson, who took it first and fired a powerful shot from outside the area. The ball also deflected into Union Berlin’s defense before going inside. Final score: 4-2.
