The appointment with “Grand’età al cinema” is also renewed in 2023, the film festival dedicated to the over 60s (and not only) which allows you to enjoy four films with a single discounted subscription of 10 euros. The films are scheduled on Monday afternoons at 3.30 pm at the Multiplex Vittoria in via Cavour 20, in the period between 27 February and 20 March 2023.
The exhibition opens with the film “Mrs. Harris goes to Paris”, a delightful comedy set in the 1950s which tells the story of a common British governess whose dream of owning a Christian Dior evening dress will lead her to an extraordinary adventure in Paris.
It repeats itself on Monday 6 March with “Astolfo”, the new film by Gianni Di Gregorio with Stefania Sandrelli: Astolfo is a retired professor who lives in Rome in an old apartment from which he is kindly evicted. Forced to take shelter in the old family home, he will know love in an unexpected way.
On March 13 it will be the turn of “Riunione di famiglia. Don’t marry my daughters 3”, the third episode of a mini-saga that sees the comedian Christian Clavier (on the screen the xenophobic Claude) protagonist of a story of “obtorto collo” acceptance of multi-ethnic France.
It closes on Monday 20 March with “Ticket to paradise”, a romantic comedy starring George Clooney and Julia Roberts, a couple of very quarrelsome exes who find themselves having the same goal: to prevent their daughter from getting married.
