BTS is among the 50 best-selling artists in history

The announcement that members of the BTS will focus on solo projects in the future shocked fans. HYBE, the company responsible for the group’s career, said that the hiatus “Is not real”. Now, it was up to Jungkook reinforce the statement: “We are not going to separate. It will be forever”.

“What’s up?”it started Jungkook in a live stream on VLive. “I came here because I watched BTS DINNER: PARTY last night. I woke up and saw things like ‘BTS hiatus’, ‘BTS disband’ and it was all a mess, so I came to clear a few things up.”

According to the artist, this new chapter “it just means that we will do more solo activities but we will still continue our group activities […] I’m going to say this again, but I don’t want you to misunderstand, we’re not splitting up and it’s not really a hiatus. We’re still filming group stuff.”. He cited the “Run BTS” program as an example and further reinforced:

“We BTS are not going to break up. BTS will be forever.”

Finally, he asked fans sincerely: “You can just think of it as our new plans, but that doesn’t mean we’re not doing any group activities. So I hope you know that.”
