Buffy star Nicholas Brendon is in hospital with a heart problem

Nicholas Brendonfamous for playing Xander Harris on the hit series Buffy the Vampire Slayer and also seen in Criminal Minds, is recovering from a medical problem. A post shared in his profile Instagram reveals that the 51-year-old actor is now fine, but that he was “rushed to the emergency room about two weeks ago due to a heart accident.”

The message makes it clear that Brendon’s accident, whose life has been haunted since the conclusion of Buffy 20 years old due to alcoholism problems, fights, arrests, mental health problems and several suicide attempts, it was related to an irregular heart rate due to tachycardia and arrhythmia. Some photographs were shared through the actor’s profile, including a couple of him on a stretcher inside the ambulance and in a room attached to medical equipment.

“Some of you may remember that Nicky had a similar accident after her second spine surgery last year,” adds the message. “He is trying to get some more rest and is dedicating himself to medical examinations.”
