Bullet Train: the new release date of the film with Brad Pitt

Bullet Train is an action thriller from the director of Deadpool 2, David Leitchstarring Brad Pittadaptation of the best-selling novel of the same name by Kōtarō Isaka. The release of the film in theaters, initially set for April 8, 2022, had been postponed to July 15, 2022. Yesterday, however, a new postponement was announced. The reasons for this postponement are not clear but if there are no new changes, the film will be released in theaters on August 5th.

Filming of Bullet Train started November 16, 2020 in the Los Angeles area and lasted until March 2021.

Brad Pitt is the protagonist Ladybug, one of the killers aboard the ultra-fast train. This marks Pitt’s first role since he won the Oscar for Best Supporting Actor for his role as Cliff Booth in Once upon a time in… Hollywood (Get the Blu-Ray on Amazon!) by Quentin Tarantino, as well as the actor’s first action role since he starred in 2016 in Allied – A hidden shadow, Robert Zemeckis’ romantic action-thriller about World War II. There will be alongside Pitt Joey King as Prince, a fellow assassin.

In the cast we also find Aaron Taylor-Johnson in the role of Tangerine, Brian Tyree Henry in the role of Lemon, the Academy Award winner Sandra Bullock in a role that was originally intended for Lady Gaga, Andrew Koji, Hiroyuki Sanada, Michael Shannon And Benito A Martínez Ocasio.

Brad Pitt stars in an ensemble film featuring a diverse group of assassins, all with linked but conflicting goals, against the backdrop of a relentless race through modern day Japan. Bullet Train, based on Kōtarō Isaka’s best-selling novel The Seven Killers of the Shinkansen, is a film produced by Sony Pictures and distributed by Warner Bros. Entertainment Italia, in theaters in July only.
