Call of Duty Warzone drops the Halo Infinite gauntlet. A new map on the day of the premiere of Microsoft’s game

The earlier release of the Halo Infinite online mode certainly spoiled the chic of Sledgehammer Games and DICE. The creators of the Call of Duty series reacted and slightly modified the plans for the start of the first season of Call of Duty Vanguard and the appearance of a new map in Call of Duty Warzone.

At the end of 2021, shooter fans will not be bored. Call of Duty: Vanguard made its debut in early November, Battlefield 2042 fully premiered last week, and the Halo Infinite campaign will hit the market in December. Last week, 343 Industries made a surprise, offering an online mode from the latest game from the Redmond giant in mid-November. This move undoubtedly influenced the interest in new versions of the competition.

Call of Duty Vanguard and Battlefield 2042 are paid productions, which could have been difficult to compete with the free multiplayer of the next part of Halo, but the situation of Call of Duty Warzone is different.

The first season of the Sledgehammer Games shooter and the new map in the free Call of Duty were to debut on December 1, 2021, but the developers changed the dates. The major update for Call of Duty Vanguard and Call of Duty: Warzone Pacific will debut on December 8, the day Halo Infinite launches.

The date does not seem to be a coincidence and heralds an interesting rivalry between the teams and extremely intense weeks for shooting enthusiasts. The studios want to ensure the greatest possible number of users on the servers, while the competition is not idle.

The updated development roadmap for Activision’s games is below:
