This Monday (9), the UEFA Champions League announced that singer Camila Cabello will be the musical attraction of the championship final. She will perform at the opening ceremony of the event, which takes place on May 28, in Paris, France.

The show starts at 1:30 pm, before the match between Liverpool and Real Madrid at the Stade de France, at 16:00 (Brasilia time).

In a statement, Guy-Laurent Epstein, UEFA’s marketing director, said: “We know that Camila Cabello is one of the most popular artists in the world and she will help us to increase fans’ excitement for her Opening Ceremony performance, with a show that football fans will not forget”.

Known for hits like “Havana”, “Señorita” and “Bam Bam”, the artist shared her enthusiasm: “I intend to put on a really special show, bringing together the spirit of my Latin heritage and a feeling of togetherness for fans of sports and music. from all over the world – I can’t wait!” – the singer said in a statement.

This will be the first in-person performance after the cancellation of the ceremony in 2020 and the virtuala8 show in 2021, due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
