Green light to the Dpcm proposed by the Minister of Economic Development Giancarlo Giorgetti on the reshaping of incentives for the purchase of non-polluting cars. In particular, a note reads, for the year 2022 the contributions for the purchase of non-polluting vehicles are expected to be raised to 50% in the event that the buyer has an income of less than 30 thousand euros.
The extra bonus for the lowest incomes is added to the incentives provided
The extra bonus for lower incomes is added to the incentives provided: for the purchase of electric cars the bonus is 3,000 euros without scrapping and 5,000 with scrapping, for hybrids 2,000 euros without scrapping and 4,000 with scrapping.
Only one person in the same household can benefit from it
Only one person within the same family unit can benefit from the additional contribution. A subsequent decree of the Mise will define the procedural discipline for disbursing the incentive.
Rental
The bonuses are also extended to legal entities that rent cars as long as they keep ownership of them for at least 12 months. “The rationale is that on the electric and plugins – explains Mise – (0-20, 21-60) there remains a significant share of resources”.

“The main market share is Italian production – Giorgetti affirms in the note – and with this measure we will increase the penetration of low-emission vehicles, continuing to support industrial production, according to the plan I had in mind at the beginning of my mandate” .
