The official trailer for Causewaythe highly anticipated film that will arrive on 4 November on Apple TV + (also visible on Sky Q and via the app on Now Smart Stick) starring Jennifer Lawrence.

Precisely the presence of the Oscar-winning actress is one of the many reasons why this film is highly anticipated.
Directed by Lila Neugebauer, it tells of Lynsey (played by Lawrence), a military engineer who returns from Afghanistan to the United States with a brain injury caused by a bomb explosion. The film tells of the difficult recovery in which the woman will have to learn to walk again, as well as to remember. In fact, her memory was also compromised.

In this recovery journey Lynsey will be joined by a keeper who loves to chat (played by Jayne Houdyshell).
Once the rehabilitation process is over, the woman will return home to New Orleans. Here she will find herself facing something much harder than that path in which she was trying to be able to walk again: she will have to face much more distressing memories than those she experienced in Afghanistan, that is, something that re-emerges from her childhood.

The plot tells of Lynsey, now a former military engineer forced to return to civilian life due to the explosion of a device that seriously injured her brain. The woman stays with her mother (Linda Emond) but she would like to return to work, also because her relationship with her parent is very tense. However, her doctor (Stephen McKinley Henderson) advises her not to go back to being a military engineer, so she will look for work, finding him as a pool cleaner.
One day the van with which he goes to work breaks down. He will meet James Aucoin (Brian Tyree Henry), who works in the garage where the vehicle for repair was brought. The boy will offer her a ride home, and the two will slowly approach, finding comfort on each other’s shoulder.

Lynsey will discover that that empathy between them comes from a suffering that unites them: even James is trying to repress some traumas that try to re-emerge from his past.
