(ANSA) – NAPLES, 07 JUL – There is also “The Gray Man” by Anthony and Joe Russo with Ryan Gosling among the free special screenings of the 20th Ischia Global Film & Music festival (10-17 July). The highly anticipated film with Ana De Armas, Chris Evans to be released on Netflix on July 22 will be on July 13 at 9 pm at the Excelsior cinema in Ischia Porto. Premiere on the opening day ‘Under the Amalfi Sun’ by Martina Pastori (on Netflix from 13 July). The strong link between the festival and the US platform is confirmed (three films on the bill, there is also ‘Tick, Tick … Boom!’ With Andrew Garfield): just think that Ted Sarandos presented Netflix for the first time in Italy seven years ago at the Global guest of the founder and producer of the event Pascal Vicedomini. But a total of over 200 titles will be offered between the island’s cinemas (delle Vittorie in Forio and Excelsior in Porto) and the digital platforms Mymovies.it and Eventive.org: 70 feature films, 30 documentaries and 100 short films from around 40 countries of the world. World premiere for Marcus Stokes’ State of Consciousness with Emily Hirsh distributed in Italy by RS Productions; Sepideh Mirhosseini’s Iranian “Son of Man” addresses the LGBT issue. And still in European preview “Here. Is. Better.” Emmy winner Jack Youngelson on the United States Department of Veterans Affairs; “My Dead Dad” by Fabio Frey, “Muthayya” by Bhaskhar Maurya.
The festival is organized with the support of the DG Cinema and Audiovisual of the MiC and the Campania Region and is promoted by the Ischia international art academy together with Riflessi Tatatu RS Productions and Givova, Banca Ifs and MedMar. (HANDLE).
