The lecture hall of the University of Cagliati collapsed. It is learned from sources of the firemen who are already present at the university and are bringing in more teams.
At the moment there are no injuries due to the late evening collapse of a building in the area that houses the humanities faculties of the University of Cagliari. The structure, where there is also an Aula Magna, is in fact frequented by students and teachers during the opening hours of the Faculty. On site, in addition to some ambulances, there are several fire brigade teams also with dogs and drones to search under the rubble.
The collapsed two-story building had hosted some lessons until this evening. According to what they learned, the last students left the building which was closed at around 8 pm. The collapse occurred around 9.50 pm in the building behind the main entrance of the complex which houses the humanities faculties and the lecture hall of the faculty of geology. At the moment it seems excluded the presence of people under the rubble, but the brigade are still operating. Also present were the mayor of Cagliari Paolo Truzzu and the Rector Francesco Mola.
