After years of distance learning as a result of the pandemic, we have been able to see how students’ ability to learn and live healthily has decreased, widening the gap the educational system has created for decades .

Children and adolescents are a priority in our government. They are central to our work. And for this reason we have focused on developing tools and implementing strategies that allow learning to recover and strengthen links between educational communities, while also considering the urgent need to achieve an educational transformation. that allows us to respond to the challenges of the 21st century.

Within this framework, lines of action have been established through the Educational Reactivation Plan, which makes it possible to comprehensively strengthen students’ educational processes, based on evidence. One of these initiatives is the National Teaching Scheme, which seeks to reinforce and deepen some of the learning in students in the first cycle of basic education, especially those related to reading, writing and communication, given that these skills are essential for knowledge. important for acquisition. more complex.

For its implementation, the scheme will work under two modalities, pedagogy and tutorials by students of related subjects, Committing higher education institutions to provide tools to their professionals in training so that they can develop an assistant that can be used for reading Allows to consolidate skills. support education students and the permanence of boys and girls in the educational system, and in charge of community tutorials, volunteers who must participate in training examples to enable second year students to complete this accompaniment to fourth grade May it be

This strategy then contributes to the irreplaceable work of teachers. In any case its realization does not replace the role of teachers nor do they replace classrooms; This translates into providing individualized support to students in the acquisition of skills fundamental to their learning and development.

In the same way, the National Tutoring Plan envisions learning as a collective construct, and therefore social, where relationships, interactions and bonds are manifested, allowing the social-emotional well-being of children and adolescents to be strengthened. The execution of these types of tasks, which involve greater citizen participation, is key to understanding that collaborative processes must also be recognized as a learning goal.

Today we would like to call on the Valparaiso Region to join this plan as a volunteer to work together in a collaborative and committed way for the students of the country.

Education is a collective work.
