The policeman Antonio Milia shot his own commander of station and then barricaded himself in barracks to Aceprovince of Como. The victim, the Lieutenant, is also currently inside the building Doriano Furceri, whose health conditions are therefore unknown. The area was surrounded by numerous carabinieri cars and the specialized departments to manage such emergency situations. Both military men are married and have respectively three children.
Brigadier Milia had been hospitalized in the past in the ward of psychiatry of the Hospital of San Fermo della Battaglia, as suffering from problems of psychological distress. He was subsequently discharged and convalesced for several months. Judged fit for service by a hospital medical commission, he had only been back in service for a few days and was now on vacation.
