According to the Ministry of Health’s announcement, the highest number of new infections was confirmed in Mazowieckie voivodship – 4270.
The remaining cases concern the following voivodeships: Śląskie (3361), Wielkopolskie (2308), Małopolskie (2255), Dolnośląskie (2070), Kujawsko-Pomorskie (1490), Łódzkie (1417), Pomeranian (1407), West Pomeranian (1393), Lublin (1033). ), Podkarpacie (907), Warmian-Masurian (899), Opole (833), Lubuskie (660), Świętokrzyskie (639), Podlasie (469).

– 29 575 beds are intended for patients with COVID-19 (+608 compared to the previous day), – of this 22 350 beds are occupied by COVID-19 patients (+315), – 2677 ventilators are intended for patients with COVID-19 (+24), – of which 1978 respirators are currently in use (+10) – 761 786 persons are quarantined (- 20 258), – 3 116 875 people recovered (+25 616).
On December 1, new restrictions came into force in Poland due to concerns about the spread of the omicron variant:
– a ban on flights to seven countries (Botswana, Eswatini, Lesotho, Mozambique, Namibia, South Africa and Zimbabwe), – extension of the quarantine to 14 days for people who travel to Poland from countries outside the Schengen area. The possibility of release from quarantine – from the eighth day after the PCR test, – all facilities where the 75 percent fill limit has so far been reduced to 50 percent – this is about gastronomy, hotels, cinemas, theaters, community centers, concerts, swimming pools , aquaparks (vaccinated people will not be included in the limits), – changed limit for gatherings and celebrations – so far it was 150 people, now it will be reduced to 100. This includes weddings, communions and discos, – changing the limit of people at events sports organized outside sports facilities. So far, it was 500 people, now it will be 250 people, – a changed limit of people, among others in shopping centers and large-format stores, gyms, fitness centers, museums – where previously there was a limit of 1 person per 10 square meters , currently there will be a limit of 1 person per 15 square meters.
