From Wednesday, up to eight people will be able to sit at the tables at the tables. The premises will have to close by 23, and guests will only be seated.

The new restrictions are to be assessed after two weeks. As Reuters noted, they are expected to last at least four weeks.

According to the Public Health Office in Sweden, the more contagious variant of the coronavirus – omicron – is already dominant since the beginning of January. Wednesday saw the highest number of COVID-19 cases in 24 hours since the start of the pandemic, 23,887.
