Countries where they no longer use face masks, how are they doing in COVID infections?

Which countries no longer wear a mask?

Despite the presence of covid, on February 1 Denmark became the first country in the European Union to lift all its health restrictions, estimating that it could do so due to the high vaccination coverage and the lesser severity of the omicron variant.

After a first two-month attempt between September and November 2021, the masks, the health pass and the reduced hours of bars and restaurants became past history in this Nordic country.

Denmark registers, according to the latest data, 3,056,722 people confirmed with coronavirus, 5,231 more than the previous day.

The rate of confirmed coronavirus patients in the last 14 days is 2,293.92 per hundred thousand inhabitants

At this time there are 5,478 people deceased by coronavirus, in the last day 28 people have died, a higher figure than the previous day.

The Council of Ministers approved that from February 11 it will be possible to be outdoors again without a mask, thus annulling the rule introduced before the Christmas holidays, and given the improvement in the incidence of covid infections in the last weeks.

However, the use of face masks is maintained inside closed places such as restaurants, cinemas, theaters, gyms and on public transport, where it will also be mandatory to wear an FFP2 type mask, which guarantee greater protection.

Italy registers, according to the latest data, 13,895,188 people confirmed with coronavirus, 33,445 more than the previous day.

At this time, the rate of confirmed coronavirus patients in the last 14 days is 1,428.36 per hundred thousand inhabitants

So far there are 157,904 people killed by coronavirus, on the last day 119 people have died.
