Covid in Veneto, today’s bulletin04 October 2022. I am 8,312 new cases of Coronavirus in Veneto in the last 24 hours e 7 the dead. It emerges from the updated data of the Region on infections. The positives since the beginning of the pandemic are 2,294,591, while the total of deaths rises to 15,499. There are currently 54,992 positive people in Veneto, 3,156 more than yesterday.
Hospital admissions are increasing
In hospitals, hospital admissions to the medical area increased (+45) to 665, while patients in intensive care remained unchanged (26).
Vaccines
Lhe vaccination campaign recorded 2,044 administrations yesterday, mostly (1,924) fourth doses.
Contagions in the provinces of Veneto
There are five out of seven Veneto provinces where new infections from Covid exceed a thousand cases in the last 24 hours. The highest number is recorded in Vicenza, with 1700 positives, followed by Padua with 1685, then Verona with 1456 infections, finally Treviso, with 1356 cases, and Venice with 1198. Lower numbers than Belluno, with 437 infections, Rovigo, where 331 are registered.
Data in Trentino
The new cases of coronavirus identified in Trentino in the last 24 hours are 1,013. Of these, eight were detected with molecular swabs (out of 199 tests performed) and 1,005 with antigens (out of 3,932 tests). There are no new deaths. This was reported in the daily bulletin of the provincial health services agency of Trento. There are 73 hospitalized patients, of which four are in resuscitation. Yesterday 13 new hospitalizations took place, compared to 13 discharges. The vaccine doses administered are a total of 1,256,291, of which 428,967 second doses, 341,180 third doses and 35,145 fourth doses.
