Threatened with not getting a spot in the next edition of the Champions League, Manchester United could be without Cristiano Ronaldo if the classification is not really won. At least that’s what former player Dimitar Berbatov, who played for the Red Devils between 2008 and 2012, guarantees.
In an interview with “Betfair”, the Bulgarian said that the Portuguese is used to playing in the competition and that this could weigh against the British club.
– I would be very happy if he continued, but if he decides to leave, I cannot blame him. When a player is used to playing in the Champions League every year of his career and suddenly he is without this competition, it is difficult to accept – declared Berbatov.

– Being in this shape at 37 shows that you treat him very well. Cristiano showed that, even at this age, he can play in the Premier League. His style of play is different now, but the goals continue to be a constant and he fulfills his role, which is to score. He has one more year on his contract and he will have to decide whether or not he wants to continue – he concluded.
