Cuban banks offer discounts to promote online shopping and payments in January

The authorities of the Popular Caissement Bank (BPA) inform its customers that during the month of January the 6% bonus and Transfermovil QR code will be maintained when paying for goods and services in Cuban pesos (CUP) at the POS or POS and through online payment options, scanned through Enzona QR code.

According to information disclosed on the network, the offer is valid in any type of venue (public or private) where the product is offered, as long as payment is made through the specified method.

The Bank of Credit and Commerce (Bandec) also announced in January their discounts and offers for electronic payments in Cuban pesos, including a 6️% bonus on the entity’s electronic cards as well. This offer will last until January 31st for those who use their bank cards to make payments and purchases via Transfermóvil, EnZona and POS (POS).

As of now, Metropolitano has not officially communicated the extension of the 6% discount on its social networks, but it will certainly do so in the next few hours.

Currently, they only have a payment schedule for retirees through 2024 as a whole. But in December they applied that schedule, 6% of which was also paid in national currency, so the most logical thing, like other financial entities, is that they extend it.

Cuba online shopping discounts in January

The Cuban Exchange Houses (Cadecas) have announced that they will continue to offer discounts for online transactions in national currency using magnetic cards from Cuban banks such as Bandec and BPA. Here we’ll explain how to do it.

According to Cadeca, “As you know, from January 1st to January 31st, there is a 6% bonus on electronic payments. Don’t know what to do? Mobile transfers: Use the QR code to select the online payment option. ENZONA: Choose Scan the QR code option. POS (POS): Use your magnetic card.”

In a time of rising prices in Cuba, these discounts, while small, are a relief for items purchased with Cuban pesos.
