Cyberpunk 2077: Samurai Edition is not being created. CD Projekt RED comments on the rumor

We should not wait for the new Cyberpunk 2077: Samurai Edition, which, according to rumors, could provide the game with a number of currently unavailable features. CD Projekt RED referred to the latest reports by denying the information.

After the quiet end of 2021, much more intense months are to come for the Cyberpunk 2077 community. We know that the Polish studio is working on the next patch and the next-gen update. The latest news about the game increased the interest even more and electrified some players. On 4chan there is an information package on the adventure in Night City, according to which the production with the start of patch 1.5 was to pass a “soft restart” and be renamed Cyberpunk 2077: Samurai Edition, while gaining a number of new functions and options. There were also some pretty promising news about the DLC.

The emerging rumors gained a lot of publicity, so we could not do without the creators’ reaction. By replying to the Forbes editorial message, Radek Grabowski, Global PR Director from CD Projekt RED, denied all speculations. The representative of the Polish studio denied that the information provided was true:

Paul Tassi: “Cyberpunk 2077” patch 1.5 and first DLC information is reportedly leaked at @forbes “

Radek: “This is not correct. I’m sorry, Paul. “

Much has been said about Cyberpunk 2077, and even more have been unconfirmed reports that have not been commented on by team members. Nevertheless, we hope that we will see significant changes soon, providing the game with a number of novelties.
