Cyberpunk 2077 will allow selecting the background of the protagonist choosing among various alternatives; this will affect the early stages of the game.
CD Projekt RED has revealed that in Cyberpunk 2077 the start of the game will not be the same for all players. Contacted by VG247, the lead quest designer Pawel Sasko explained that the initial stages of the game will depend on the choices made regarding the protagonist’s past.
The developer then intervened on Twitter, where he stated that he could no longer specifically enter the places to avoid giving too many advances on the incipit of the game and on the origins that will be made available to the public in the preliminary stages of the game.
As we know, Cyberpunk 2077 will allow access to three classes– Netrunner, Solo and Techie – but in the course of progression, it will be possible to intervene freely on the structure of one’s character, thus also drawing on the abilities falling within the other categories proposed.
In the last few days, the Polish team has confirmed that large expansions will be carried out, exactly as happened with the Hearts of Stone and Blood & Wine packages of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. Meanwhile, some fans have mobilized to launch a petition requesting the inclusion of a Trophy / Objective in honor of Keanu Reeves.
The launch date for Cyberpunk 2077 is currently set for April 16, 2020.
