CD Projekt RED explains something more about the four different types of quests in Cyberpunk 2077 and above all in the Street Stories, which occupy an important part in the RPG.
Actually a lot of information has been spread so far on Cyberpunk 2077, so much so that it is difficult to reconstruct all the fragments of the puzzle, but it does not hurt to come back to the question of the types of quests present in the new RPG of CD Projekt RED.
In an interview that took place directly within the official CD Projekt RED forum, the developers explained some aspects of the variety of quests featured in Cyberpunk 2077. The designer Philipp Weber explained how these are generally divided into four types main: main missions, side quests, street stories, and minor quests. The first is obviously the missions related to the main story, related to the progress of the game, while the latter is the classic secondary missions that branch out to the main narrative lines to deepen some aspects of the outline.
Considering that the latter are minor elements, with just a hinted structure, the newer ones are the Street Stories , which are in fact the type on which Weber has concentrated most in his speech: “Street Stories are the daily bread for a street mercenary like V, a bit like the hunt for monsters it is for a Witcher like Geralt “, the quest designer explained.
“These are jobs that V gets from fixers like Dexter DeShawn and carry out these missions to give V more street cred, in order to get a reputation in the city. These jobs can be very varied and of course, can be interpreted differently with different styles of play, so there are often many creative ways to carry them out “. Cyberpunk 2077 is back to show up just yesterday with a trailer behind the scenes.
