Dawid Kubacki and Paweł Wąsek, who obtained a positive test for the presence of coronavirus, will not appear in the World Cup competitions in Zakopane. Previously, Kamil Stoch was eliminated from the performance in the capital of the Polish Tatra Mountains.
Dawid Kubacki, who expressed it on Instagram, regretted his absence. He made a very clear entry there. “Unfortunately, it caught up with me. This year I will not be able to feel the atmosphere of the competition in Zakopane. I will keep my fingers crossed for my friends in front of the TV set” – he wrote.
Due to the FIS regulations, both Kubacki and Wąsek will not take part in the next World Cup competition in Titisee-Neustadt.
At the moment, at the facility in Zakopane, the honor of our team will be defended by ten players. At Wielka Krokiew we will see Piotr Żyła, Jakub Wolny, Andrzej Stękała, Alekander Zniszczoł, Maciej Kot, Tomasz Pilch, Klemens Murańka, Kacper Juroszek, Stefan Hula and Jan Habdas, who will replace the injured Stoch.
