And it was because of Deva, the actor’s eldest daughter, who is celebrating her 19th birthday this week. The actor currently seems to be sailing through choppy waters alongside his wife Tina Kunakey.
However, this isn’t the first time dark clouds have darkened the holiday sky. The source of this past turbulence? Deva, the eldest daughter of Vincent Cassel.
The magazine Voici had already reported on these frictions in the past. Relations between Tina Kunakey and the actor’s eldest daughter were not in good shape. This was clearly reflected in the photos taken at the time in Rio de Janeiro.
In one of them, Vincent Cassel had a slightly tense face, while in another, Tina walked alongside Vincent’s daughter, whose face was blurred. The magazine then commented: “At the beginning of January, one of the girls headed to Rio, just to get closer to her darling dad… and her new stepmother Tina Kunakey.”
During their stay on the beautiful Arpoador beach, one of the most popular in Rio, Vincent and Tina did not seem as happy as in their daily Instagram posts. Even in the bright sunshine, the actor’s daughter didn’t seem happy. Only surfing with his father seemed to bring a smile to his face. With Tina Kunakey, his young mother-in-law, however, it was a different story.
The magazine Voici noted: “Mother-in-law and daughter-in-law… are clearly separate and distant towels… A great classic especially when there is so little age gap between the daughter-in-law and her mother-in-law”. Since then, relations seemed to have calmed down. Tina Kunakey paid tribute to her daughter-in-law on Instagram.
