The racing game is eager to start, Codemasters takes the opportunity to take stock of the content to come.

DiRT Rally 2.0 will arrive in a week, all right, on computers and home consoles, but Codemasters is already on the starting line and shares today the trailer for the launch of his racing game.

This short video recalls the essential elements of this opus, with several official vehicles controllable on tracks around the world, and with changing the weather. This suite will also include the possibility of choosing tires, tracks that deteriorate over time and improved driving. But Codemasters also takes the opportunity to review the content that will be added during Season 1, which begins March 12:

  • Week 1: ŠKODA Fabia Rally, Citroën C4 Rally;
  • Week 3: Monte Carlo Rally, Special livery;
  • Week 5: BMW M1 Procar Rally, Opel Manta 400, Special livery;
  • Week 7: Rally Sweden;
  • Week 9: 2007 Ford Focus RS Rally, Subaru Impreza, Special livery;
  • Week 11: Rally of Germany

Clive Moody, SVP Product Development at Codemasters, goes for his small statement on the racing game:

DiRT Rally 2.0 tries to go further than the original DiRT Rally and offers the most difficult challenge of the DiRT franchise. The combination of increased maneuverability with each car and better weather systems, as well as the simulation of runway degradation, make it possible to experience completely different sensations every time. Each turn of each circuit has its own personality and requires pilots to remain focused and determined from beginning to end. Aim for the perfect path, or at least try to cross the finish line!

Finally, Codemasters said that DiRT Rally will be entitled to 2.0 edition Day One with the 911 GTA Rally Spec, the Fiat 131 Abarth Rally and the cult Alpine Renault A110 1600 S. The release date of DiRT Rally 2.0 is set for February 26, 2019, on PC, PS4 and Xbox One , but the owners of the Deluxe edition will be able to play on the 22 and enjoy the content of the first two seasons from their launch no additional cost.
