A few days after its debut in the United States, Disney + reminded everyone that an absolute cult-like the first Tron will be present in its catalog by publishing its original trailer.
Released in 1982, Tron revolves around a young programmer named Kevin Flynn (Jeff Bridges) who finds himself stuck in a computer system crashed, where he will be forced to compete in a series of popular video games to try to escape. In 2010 the sequel Tron: Legacy also arrived in theaters. You can view the Tron trailer in the top player.
Not having titles on a license, Disney + focuses strongly on the original titles of the vast range owned by the House of Mickey Mouse, including brands such as Marvel, Star Wars, Pixar, National Geographic and of course everything that was made by Walt Disney Studios, including animated classics.
The streaming platform will debut on November 12 in the United States, Canada, and the Netherlands, and the release date in Italy has recently been announced: March 31, 2020. With the arrival of the service the first live-action series of Star Wars, The Mandalorian, will also debut, while for other expected series like those of the MCU there will be several months to wait.
As for the titles in the catalog, Disney + pointed out that the catalogs of each country may vary depending on the rights.
