A documentary about the incapacitation of Britney Spears will appear on Netflix. Shortly after the announcement of the high-profile movie, the platform revealed the trailer for the production of Britney vs Spears. The trailer features a footage of the singer’s shocking testimony on June 23.
The film was directed by Erin Lee Carr. It will focus on the key characters in the singer’s life. Information about the film appears a few weeks after her father, unexpectedly after 13 years, resigned from his custody over his daughter and submitted an official motion to do so.

Documentary about Britney Spears: premieres September 28
Although the film has been in production for over a year, the production of the documentary was shrouded in mystery for a long time. You can see it on Netflix from September 28. The singer’s fiancé Sam Asghari spoke about the Netflix documentary. On Instagram, he published a statement:
The previous documents left a bad taste [sic]. Hope this one will be respectful. I don’t blame CNN, BBC or NETFLIX (…) for broadcasting them, because as an actor I also tell stories to other people. (…) I only question producers who made them “just to shed light” without the participation or consent of the subject.
We hope Netflix has heeded the singer’s reports of the disgusting media comments and will focus on a truer account of her life and what the singer herself has to say about her father’s tutelage. This is not the only documentary about the pop music icon. Recently, the documentary “Controlling Britney Spears” was released, from which viewers learned, among other things, that the singer’s father even controlled her private conversations.
