It is not an isolated phenomenon. Continental drought is offering other historical surprises. In Spain, the Valdecanas reservoir dried up and revealed a prehistoric stone circle. A monumental context known to scholars but practically invisible. It is nicknamed the “Spanish stonehenge”, Officially named as the Dolmens of Guadalperal. Here the water level has dropped to 28% of capacity. The consequence is that this site already discovered in 1926 but covered by water in 1963 and seen only four times since then shows off its beauty again.
