Legendary has announced the postponement of the release date in theaters of Dune 2 and when the sequel to Godzilla vs. Kong.
Dunes: Part 2 has a new one exit date: the sequel directed by Denis Villeneuve has been postponed from 20 October to 17 November 2023.
The film produced by Legendary will thus find itself facing the box office The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes, the prequel project of Hunger Games, Trolls 3 and a film directed by John Krasinski with Ryan Reynolds.
Shooting on Dune: Part Two will begin in the fall in the Budapest area. The production hopes to replicate the success of the first chapter of the story based on the novels of Frank Herbert, which reached 400 million dollars and was able to win six Oscars.
Among the new performers who will join the cast are Léa Seydoux in the role of Lady Margot, Florence Pugh, Christopher Walken and Austin Butler.

Legendary also announced that the Godzilla vs. Kong will hit theaters on March 15, 2024.
